RE: The right to sue
1) It's way too much work from my crackberry to fix the typo's.

2) I have a legitimate question....if someone breaks into your car an steals $1,000 woth of stuff would your claim include the 99 cent pack of tic tacs you bought that morning & the travel mug from the local coffee shop you spent $2.49 on?

RE: The right to sue
I would not try to stop a burglar by any means, gun or otherwise. I'd hide or try to get the hell out of their way.
I agree the gun is a little bit overkill, but it worked in this case. I would hope if th guy tried to run the gun owner would shoot him in the foot or the knee.... or hand... and get sued.

Insurance companies generally screw you so if you're going to make a claim and you've got the receipt for yout tic tacs... why not? Big Grin Unless you have one item worth $ 1000 stolen the insurance company would probably make you pull receipts and depreciate it.............. IF you can prove it was in the car in the first place.

only part of TX, Ms Ripps. the part up here in the north, with the Bombardier office that flies the Canadain flag higher than the USA or state flag ain't the death-sentence-revelling part ... that would be southern TX, with its quasi capital, Huntsville.

I like my heart just the way it is today, an ugly beauty gained.

And you wouldn't find this anymore a waste of time than the criminal that sues the victim? ;-)
